Inside Sales Account Manager - Spain and PortugalSummary The main purpose of Inside Sales is to deliver a sustainable and profitable growth through digital sales and automating sales processes and methodologies for the region. This role will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of existing customers as well as identifying and capturing new business opportunities within a specified geographic territory of Spain and Portugal.
In this role, you'll.. Acquisition Analyze local market specifics and identify and capture new business opportunities within a specified geographic territory and/or customer segment (small to medium deals) remotely
Validate leads coming from established sources and convert them into opportunities
Promote and sell products, services and solutions through direct contacts, virtual events and road shows (webinars).
Using virtual selling tools, deliver business or product presentations. Also, bring product experts who may be based in the markets/regions to enhance the relationship and improve the probability of successful sales.
Identify customer specific needs and deliver compelling virtual sessions to present the proposal and using digital tools walk the customer through the implementation/onboarding process.
Create new accounts and log contact details of potential customer in the digital tools
For advanced prospects, preparation of the business case and ensuring deal profitability targets are met
After successful acquisition, ensure that customer is fully operational: technical setup, training, invoicing, etc.
Using various digital communication channels (email, instant messaging, video calls, etc.) manage and negotiate to achieve a deal closure.
Actively participate in the campaign driven sales process, handle leads created as part of the campaigns and report on the campaign progress daily logging activities performed in the CRM.
Contribution to Sales and Marketing Plan Support the delivery of the marketing plan by analysing webinar outcomes, following up on webinar attendees and support the awareness and educational digital activities in1-to-1 or 1-to-many activities.
Participate in the preparation of the quarterly sales plan and identification of the target customer and prospect groups using dedicated analytical tools in Qlik and CRM
Using virtual selling tools (video calls, live presentations- Teams, Zoom) identify and qualify business opportunities by establishing and developing relationships with top level executives with aminimum number of daily/weekly/monthly call numbers set by the manager.
Coordinate and participate in RFP/RFI responses and follow-up.
Sales Pipeline Reporting and Analysis Report weekly or bi-weekly to Inside Sales Head on the sales pipeline andcampaign progress and provide insights and market intelligence.
Ensure correct customer approach rate on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, as defined by management.
Monitor and manage the sales pipeline velocity at desired level.
Account management responsibilities Execute & process the operational requests received from key customer. Provide a best in class service delivery within set targets & contractual SLAs
Ensure that key customers make best use of Amadeus technology & that the established performance, productivity & service metric are achieved
Ensure that key customers are informed in a timely manner of new product & solution releases
Provide assistance to resolve product & technical questions/ issues if raised to the Global Customer Services or Account Managers/Senior Account Managers
Support the business, functional & technical consultants to deliver key customer business processes & IT review and solution enhancement recommendations
Provide support to the Account Manager/Senior Account Manager for reporting
The ideal candidate 3 years of experience in a sales or account management role, ideally within the technology or travel industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
Experience in B2B sales and familiarity with the sales cycle and strategies for the Iberian market.
Experience in the travel or IT sector would be a significant advantage.
Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese
Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is a MUST.
Proficiency in CRM software(e.g., Salesforce)
Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with sales and marketing automation tools
