The Innovation Lead will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, interacting with clinical researchers, healthcare professionals, and engineers to ensure strategic positioning, technological advancements, and successful project execution. Additionally, this role focuses on positioning the Stroke Unit in leading roles in international projects, clinical research, and strategic initiatives.This position requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on project management to drive innovation in stroke care. Desired: Training in project management. Experience and knowledge: Required: At least 2 years working in hospital environment. At least 2 years in project management environment. Experience in cardiovascular diseases. Expertise in data science, AI, and emerging healthcare technologies (AI, 3d Printing, VR/AR, etc). Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Main responsibilities and duties: Conceptualize, lead, and manage competitive funding proposals to promote the leadership and strategic positioning of the stroke unit. Form consortia, write proposals, create budgets, and communicate with funding entities to secure resources. Project Managing and Clinical Trial Monitoring: Oversee and monitor current projects and clinical trials to ensure objectives, deliverables, and timelines are met within the allocated budget. Lead project teams to achieve set goals efficiently. Innovation Strategies and Technology Transfer: Develop strategies for innovation and technological knowledge transfer within the Stroke Unit. Value intellectual property, establish partnerships with key stakeholders, and foster collaborations. Position the stroke unit in development and prototyping hubs such as LivingLabs, Digital Hub, Digital R&D of Pharmas, and VHIR Units. Technological Solutions and Dissemination: Provide support and advice on technological solutions in data science, AI, 3D printing, virtual reality, and other emerging technologies. Disseminate scientific milestones of the stroke unit both internally and externally. Statistical Methods and Data Science: Develop statistical methods and data science techniques to identify improvements in clinical processes. Publish results in scientific journals to contribute to the body of knowledge in stroke care. Labour conditions: Full-time position: 40h/week. Starting date: Immediate. Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
