To reinforce our R&D team, we are looking for an Inno Project Manager.
Mission and Key Tasks The Project Manager within the Innovation project management team is necessary to coordinate key projects for Ontex strategy that require close management and follow-up from a cross-departmental perspective. This is achieved by coordinating people, processes and systems and acting as a liaison between the project team, senior management and commercial/operational teams in order to deliver business projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.
What am I expected to deliver, and what are my main tasks?
Set up overall project definition: scope, time, resources, risks and budget, and manage the project/s within these defined parameters.
Drive the complete project life cycle from kick-off (Gate 0) to Evaluation (Gate 5), following the defined requirements of the innovation process.
Be the overall driver and organizer behind the project team.
Provide status reports versus plan.
Drive the multifunctional team to solutions when roadblocks arise, and escalate to management when necessary.
Prepare a detailed project plan and schedule key project milestones, workstreams and activities.
Develop comprehensive project plans that merge the different involved departments and stakeholders.
Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
Communicate proactively with all involved stakeholders to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
Set up tools and documents to enable project management.
Set up the governance, change management and structure behind the project.
Background and Experience What is the educational requirement for the job? Master's degree (university or equivalent through experience) in any field.
What prior experience is required for the job? Minimum 3 years of project management experience in any field (Experience in FMCG industry is a plus).
Which technical skills do I need to master? Fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of any other European language is a plus.
Good knowledge of MS Office (using SharePoint and Teams to manage projects is a plus).
Experience using any Project Management tool (MS Project, MS Planner, Jira, Slack, Trello, etc).
Professional certification is a plus (Prince II…).
