Reporting to the Engineering Director for EMEA, you will play a key role in the Engineering Strategy.The role is based in Aliaxis EMEA Head-office, Brussels or in any other EMEA countries where we have a manufacturing site and will require up to 20% of travelling across the region.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop common technical and manufacturing standards for Mould design and Injection Moulding as a process; Lead and develop Mould design centres of excellence that exist in the units across the EMEA region; Work with Procurement to develop strategic relationships with key suppliers to leverage our total scale; Develop processesthat integrate New Product Development with Product Introduction, through Design for Manufacture so ensuring manufacturing cost targets are set and met; Develop competences of the mould engineering teams; Responsible for the mould engineering teams in the local units. Ensure that the local mould engineering activities and processes are integrated with the local engineering processes.RequirementsTechnical background in tool design for the plastic industry; Education in MechanicalEngineering or related field.Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills; Experience with PMI, PMP or Prince 2 is a plus.Ability to lead multi-functional projects that vary in complexity and priority.Experience working in complex, international and multi-stakeholder environment
