Senior Media Analyst - Marketing Analytics - Data ScienceDepartment: Marketing EffectivenessEmployment Type: Permanent - Full TimeLocation: Spain - MadridReporting To: Theodoros GkoliasDescriptionThe role is based in our Analytics department, which helps advertisers get the best returns on their marketing and promotional spend. You'll develop accurate and appropriate analytic models and begin to interpret the analysis to create concise, insightful customer communications.Key ResponsibilitiesKey activities:Develop accurate and appropriate analytic models, under the direction of team leaders, helping provide commercially impactful advisory services.Develop analytic tools and R/Python automation to help the business deliver its goals.Continually accumulate and develop marketing effectiveness knowledge and expertise.Contribute to team goals and profitability by producing work to timetable.Be a technical expert, bringing knowledge of multiple regression, logistic modelling, genetic algorithms, test design, and computationally efficient methods to the team (there is an opportunity to learn these in the role).Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseWhat will you bring to the role:A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance/Economics, or Mathematics/Statistics.Competence in at least two of the following: R, Python, MATLAB, SQL.Web programming skills would be advantageous but are not necessary.Experience in the media or marketing industry would be advantageous but not necessary.Ability to communicate clearly in both Spanish and English. Fluent spoken English is MANDATORY (interview will be conducted entirely in English).
