In this role, you will lead the effective safety management and drive the process of improving the level of Safety Culture at the facility. You will assure compliance with local and Bunge safety rules, regulations, and standards while introducing sustainable safety solutions and initiatives to mitigate risks related to production processes, logistics, maintenance operations, and office jobs present at the site.Responsibilities:Define, implement, and monitor effective processes for managing legal compliance and the safety management system (ISO 45001).Translate and deploy Bunge Global & European safety standards into effective local processes, procedures, and practices.Lead the BPS (Bunge Production System) safety pillar.Drive the Human Organization Performance (HOP) approach.Lead the Bunge Stand for Safety campaign on the local level.Support the journey of building and reaching the maturity level of safety culture through safety culture assessments.Develop and sustain an effective process of reporting safety proactive indicators and embed the Safety Pyramid concept in all levels of the organization.Ensure effective reporting and investigation of accidents and incidents, support investigations, and coach teams on quality RCA.Establish and support leadership safety skills, coaching them to effectively lead safety in their respective areas.Conduct regular safety inspections and coach local leaders on safety skills and behavior.Analyze safety training needs, deliver training, and follow up on effectiveness.Follow up on GRC inspections and ensure compliance with fire fighting and Atex standards.Support Bunge Process Safety approach and follow up on EPSA audits.Define the process and support Job Hazards Analysis.Participate in safety planning of projects and ensure safe execution of Bunge Global Construction Safety Standard.Participate in Fatality Prevention Audits and follow up on identified areas of improvement.Develop and ensure effectiveness of contractor management systems, including the auditing process.Support CAPEX projects for Safety and implementation of Bunge Construction Safety Standard.Actively participate in safety networking within the Bunge organization.Develop and implement safety innovations and new initiatives to strengthen local safety culture.We are looking for:University degree in a related field.Experience with OHSAS 18001 & ISO 45001.Approximately 5 years of experience in a safety position in a production facility within an international organization.Knowledge of safety culture and modern safety practices.Good command of both written and spoken English.Able to travel when required.Problem-solving skills, planning, organization, and analytical thinking capability.Ability to work in a team and strong interpersonal skills
