We also offer energy efficiency solutions for both, public and private clients.Job Description:For our new Energy business unit, we are looking for a Legal Counsel experienced in the construction of renewable energy projects, who will join the Legal Department reporting to the Head of Legal, Energy Spain.The position will be based in Madrid.Responsibilities:Drafting and review of renewable energy project contracts (EPC, O&M, Asset Management, PPAs, lease agreements, supply & service agreements).Negotiation, mediation, and settlement of disputes between contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.Litigation and claims related to energy project contracts.Collaboration with the legal team to provide advice in relation to M&A transactions.Legal advice to ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.Management of relationship with external advisers.Education and experience:Law degree. Admission to practice in Spain is required.8+ years of experience in the legal department of an energy multinational company. Experience in a top tier law firm will be valued.Multijurisdictional experience, including US law, will be valued.Fluent in business English.
