Eurecat EU Programmes Unit is seeking an Advanced European Union Programme Manager with strong proposal writing, project management, and public representation skills to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities within EU Framework programs, managing project coordination, and representing Eurecat at the European level.
Functions and Responsibilities Opportunity Identification & Proposal Development Identify and screen opportunities within EU R&D funding programmes, focusing on (but not limited to) Horizon Europe.
Lead the drafting, preparation, and submission of project proposals, collaborating with internal technical experts and external partners.
This includes demonstrating expertise in all sections of Part B of proposals (i.e., excellence, impact, and implementation).
Ensure that proposals align with Eurecat's strategic objectives and comply with EU requirements.
Exhibit excellent English writing skills to produce high-quality submissions.
Project Management & Coordination Oversee the overall coordination of EU-funded projects, ensuring smooth execution, follow-up, and monitoring of all activities.
Liaise with all parties involved—partners, contractors, and stakeholders—to maintain clear communication and alignment.
Ensure the timely delivery of project milestones and results, engaging in technical or technological tasks discussions, if needed.
Representation & Networking Represent Eurecat at European-level events, conferences, and platforms to present project results and achievements.
Build and maintain relationships with key EU stakeholders and partners to identify future collaboration opportunities.
Stay informed about new developments in EU R&D funding programmes and policy changes to strategically position Eurecat for upcoming opportunities.
Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in European Studies, Public Policy, International Relations, Engineering, or a related field.
Specialization in project management (MSc, postgraduate studies, etc.).
