We work for clients from the public and private sectors, providing creative and sustainable solutions based on the efficient use of resources.The OpportunityWe are seeking a student to join and support the Energy team in delivering consulting services, particularly related to high voltage, transmission and distribution (T&D), substation design, and power system analysis.You will support a team that has established a reputation for supporting global projects both in Spain and internationally. We provide advice, design, and planning support to major commercial, industrial, and institutional clients in the construction sector in Spain and worldwide.Our portfolio of work varies in scale, from providing techno-economic studies to help countries reduce emissions associated with residential heating, to assessing how to reduce the total energy consumption of major airports, to digitally modeling how the shape, position, and number of windows affect comfort within a mosque.The team is growing and looking for the right candidate to support the delivery of a wide range of projects while helping our clients meet their sustainability goals and our own commitments to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.Minimum RequirementsCurrently pursuing studies in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.Interest in using and reviewing high voltage infrastructure designs and drawings specialized software (i.E., DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSSe, AutoCAD).Very high level of English and Spanish (fluency in both spoken and written).Some knowledge of power systems (especially substations and equipment).Interest in technical and/or regulatory aspects of energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings.Assessable RequirementsMaster's degree in electrical engineering or energy.Interest in renewable and distributed energy resources (i.E., photovoltaic solar energy, biomass, battery storage, thermal energy storage).Interest in sustainable energy provision (i.E., PPAs, Renewable Energy Certificates, green tariffs).Other languages such as French, Portuguese, or Italian would also be valuable.Interest in Access and Connection procedures, permits, grid code compliance, or related services.ConditionsBe enrolled in the university to establish an agreement with the University.Immediate incorporation
