¿Are you looking for a new challenge? We are in need of a manufacturing engineer in the NPI (New Product Introduction).
As our new Process Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
Being the link between Technology (R&D) and our production facilities during product development.
Developing and aligning best practices for Production Engineering standards.
Supporting and introducing assembly methods in the factory.
Collecting learnings on assembly and process from the factory and informing Technology accordingly, as well as following up on these topics regularly.
Supporting, training, and assessing the assembly plants within Production Engineering standards.
Main tasks:
Presence in the factory during assembly, taking notes of all learnings and informing the team, as well as following up on tasks handled.
Creating storyboards that provide an overall description of the assembly process and determine different requirements for the area (LxWxH), weight requirements, electrical, air, lifting, etc.
Determining and describing layout requirements based on given tack times.
Establishing manufacturing processes based on tack time to determine the number of stations and process.
Establishing PFMEA based on information from Technology (DFMEA) and lessons learned from previous factories.
During the assembly introduction in production, checking all work instructions, storyboards, process flow, standard work, BOM, etc.
Competences needed:
Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field of expertise from an accredited university.
FP education with many years of experience working with similar topics as described.
SW competence needed:
Microsoft Office.
Other special needs:
Minimum 80% of the time presence in the factory at Agreda.
20% in office Pamplona or home office.
The project will last +6 months.
