We are looking for an Engineer in Eco-efficiency and Sustainability to join the Efficient and Sustainable Processes (PES) area.
Your functions will be framed in the line aimed at increasing the sustainability and eco-efficiency of companies in the food chain and their production processes, through the realization of comprehensive plans for environmental evaluation, improvement, and eco-efficiency of industries, as well as the design, development, and validation of innovative, operational, and good practice solutions and technologies, oriented towards:
Water, energy, raw materials, and materials savings.Increase in production efficiency.Reuse and use of process waters.Reduction at the source of losses, rejections, waste, food waste, and effluents.You will carry out eco-efficiency and environmental diagnoses, as well as life cycle, social, and economic analysis.
Minimum Requirements: Academic degree: Higher Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or similar.At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in developing proposals and consultancy projects and/or R&D projects in the field of the position, specifically:On-site diagnostics, environmental advice, and implementation of eco-efficiency and clean production plans, preferably in food plants and companies.Conceptualization and pre-design of industrial solutions and installations for increased eco-efficiency.Development and implementation of new technologies, strategies, and/or plans to increase production, energy, and/or water efficiency, as well as reduce the environmental impact of food products, processes, and installations.Programming knowledge (preferably Python, R, C/C++ etc.)
and databases.Knowledge and experience in the field of food technology and processes and design of installations, particularly in the food sector.Application of minimization technologies, water treatment, and management of waters and discharges.High level of spoken and written English.Driver's license.We will love you if...
