Space Thermal Systems EngineerJoin our team and build the furure of space technology The candidatewill join the Systems Engineering team in the Missions area, working on variouslow Earth orbit (LEO) nanosatellite missions.
This area is responsible fortasks related to the design and analysis of the satellite's Thermal ControlSubsystem (TCS), using advanced design and analysis tools. The selected person will participate in the detaileddesign of the nanosatellite's TCS, managing the implementation and testing ofthe thermal subsystem, ensuring that the design meets the mission requirements.
Responsibilities will includesystem-level thermal analysis, hardware selection, planning and support forthermal vacuum tests, and supplier management.
They will also collaborate withother technical teams to ensure compatibility between subsystems, optimizingthe satellite's thermal/structural performance. In addition, the candidate may provide versatile supportin defining mission and technical specifications, managing technical budgets, and coordinating internal and external interfaces.
They will also participate in the company'sproduct development projects.
What you will be doing?
The Space ThermalSystems Engineer will be responsible for: Managing the thermal subsystem of nanosatellites, ensuring proper design, analysis, and implementation.Designing and analyzing the thermal subsystem to meet mission requirements.Implementing the thermal design, selecting suitable hardware, and planning tests.Collaborating with other teams to manage interfaces between subsystems.Ensuring the delivery of a thermal solution within established deadlines and budgets.Managing suppliers for the purchase and integration of thermal components.Participating in thermal vacuum tests and other verifications.
What do we need in our team Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines. At least 5 years of experience in thermal design and analysis, preferably in nanosatellites or aerospace projects.Knowledge of thermal analysis tools, preferably ESATAN.Experience in planning and supporting thermal vacuum tests.Knowledge of active and passive hardware for TCS.Good level of English (written and spoken).
Valuable knowledge: Experience in space missions and nanosatellite systems.Familiarity with space standards (ECSS, NASA).Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
