We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our software and automation team in the Galileo project, the European satellite constellation for positioning and navigation.
In this team, we take care of the automation of the deployment and configuration of a series of services of the Control Center, such as the DNS, the access system, the antivirus, the transmission of files, and the centralization of information.
In addition, we carry out a series of small developments to automate the maintenance and control tasks of the system.
The work will allow you to have an overview of the Galileo project and you will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and validation of these services, as well as their securing and hardening.
You will expand your knowledge in Python, security, automation, Linux systems, and virtualization and work with tools such as Ansible, Rundeck, and Jenkins, among others.
Knowledge of UNIX/Linux-based environments is essential.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with: Scripting skills (shell, Python) for Linux Version control systems: Git CI/CD: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
Knowledge of Linux system configuration will be valued: DNS, logging, repositories, NTP, networking concepts, certificates, etc.
