PCT Engineers are also responsible for the operation and monitoring of the plant using state-of-the-art control systems.The Goal of the Program: Training in Spain to Work in GermanyThis program is designed to train future engineers in the Process Control Technology (PCT) field, with an initial focus on our plants in Spain. However, the long-term goal is for you to acquire the necessary skills to develop your career at Covestro Germany, working in an international environment and taking part in large-scale projects within the chemical industry.We offer:6-month contract as an Engineer in one of our Spanish sites.Labour contract directly by a German site as a PCT Engineer with a competitive salary.Tailor-made development plan and career planning.International experience and knowledge exchange.A mentor from the Top Management team to provide advice, support, and guidance during the program.Qualifications & SkillsAn Engineering or Master's degree in one of the following studies:Bachelor's in Industrial Electronics and Automation.Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Electronics and Automation.Master's in Control Engineering, Automation, and Robotics.1-3 years of experience (internships and/or first job), preferably in the industry is valuable.Fluency in English (C1); knowledge of German is a plus.Exceptional communication skills and a strong team player mentality.Entrepreneurial, innovative, and creative thinking with a global mindset.Motivation, passion, and eagerness to learn.Flexibility, a proactive approach, and a strong results-oriented focus.Timeline:Q4 2024/Q1 2025: SELECTION PROCESSYou will go through several stages in the selection process, designed to assess your skills, potential, and alignment with Covestro's values.Q2 2025: START THE PROGRAM (SPAIN)Your career with Covestro will begin with a kick-off event, where you'll connect with other graduates and key stakeholders (HR Experts, tutors, PCT colleagues, etc.) who will guide you on your journey.Q3 2025: FINAL STAGE (GERMANY)After six months in Spain, you will transition to Germany to begin working as a local PCT Engineer.
