What you'll do Administrate the organization storage infrastructure in a multi-location environment based in NetApp and vSAN.Actively monitor our Datacenters compute capacity to adapt to the organisation and customer needs.Manage and monitor the organizations VMware and Openstack virtualization platforms across multiple locations from a capacity point of view.Create automated yet powerful deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality.Participate in the design of data management policies, processes, and solutions for our enterprise.
Specifically, this includes backup, replication, retention, archival, data access security, disaster recovery, and high availability.Work closely with Datacenter Facilities team ensuring all hardware processes from selection, specification, architecture and bootstrapping are as efficient and seamless as possible.Maintain an up to date documentation of our datacenter architecture.Proactively monitor the infrastructure for issues.Work with vendors and our purchasers to procure appropriate products and services.What you'll bring 4-6 years Virtualisation and/or storage engineering related experience.Day to day operation knowledge of NetApp clustered ontap, NFS, iSCSI and Cisco MDS SAN Switches.Experience in the maintenance of VMware clusters with VMware Infrastructure/vSphere/vSAN.Experience administering fiber channel SAN systems and NAS systems.Experience with automation and scripting in Linux environment is highly desired.What's in it for you Inspiring and fulfilling work at the innovative, value-driven global company that uses cutting-edge tech.Global work experience in agile methodology.International, friendly and inclusive multi-cultural environment (over 35 nationalities that speak altogether almost 30 languages!
