We allow hybrid working.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer specializing in Microsoft Azure to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Azure-based technologies, Linux, Unix, and virtualization, including Azure Virtual Desktop.The Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions to meet our business needs while ensuring optimal reliability, performance, security, and scalability.You will collaborate with cross-functional, globally dispersed teams, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our monitoring and logging systems.Key responsibilities: Design and Implement Azure Cloud Services: Architect, design, and deploy Azure Cloud services for various applications.Manage Azure Services: Configure and manage Azure Virtual Desktop, VMs, Storage, Networking, Active Directory, and Kubernetes.Virtualization Management: Design and optimize virtualized environments, ensuring peak performance.Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance for cloud solutions.Disaster Recovery: Design, implement, and regularly test disaster recovery and backup solutions.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, optimize infrastructure, and identify automation opportunities.Incident Response: Promptly respond to alerts and incidents, conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Documentation and Collaboration: Maintain documentation, develop best practices, and collaborate with global teams. Oversee IT vendor work, ensuring proper execution and resolving any issues.Key requirements: Experience Level: At least 2 to 5 years of cloud experience, ideally in an international environment.Expertise managing Azure Cloud technology and automation tools like ARM Templates, Bicep and/or Terraform is required.English Proficiency: High level of English is mandatory.Technologies and Certifications: Bachelor Degree in a relevant IT field is ideal. Azure certification is a plus but not required.Cloud Technologies Expertise: Azure Cloud, ARM templates/Bicep, Kubernetes, DevOps tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Knowledge of other cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform
