To support this mission, our IT Trading Team is seeking a dynamic IT Business Analyst to drive the development and automation of key processes, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Your role ensures seamless collaboration, translating business requirements into actionable solutions while overseeing the implementation and adoption of these advancements.
Key Responsibilities Facilitating Collaboration: Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, assisting users in defining functional requirements and translating them into comprehensible deliverables for development teams.
Managing Product Backlogs: Oversee the backlog of requests, including refinement, prioritization, and inclusion in development iterations, while ensuring proper tracking and implementation.
Driving Process Improvements: Conduct studies to analyze potential process enhancements, adopt innovative IT methodologies, and introduce cutting-edge applications to support business growth.
Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans for new functionalities to ensure business requirements are met.
This includes regression testing for existing processes.
Technical Leadership: Lead IT initiatives, track progress on open organizational topics, and support agile execution of projects to deliver value swiftly to users.
Specialized Expertise in ETRM: Understand product configurations, perform configuration analyses, and manage new requests for Energy Trading and Risk Management systems.
What You Bring to the Team Required Qualifications: Advanced degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Flexible and open-minded, with strong multitasking, autonomy, and communication skills.
Initiative-driven and proactive, with a results-oriented mindset.
Fluency in both English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of oil trading processes and/or G&P (Gas & Power) operations.
Technical expertise or interest in IT systems and process analysis.
Familiarity with agile methodologies.
Understanding of external service management models, SLA management, and quality assurance.
Experience in project management methodologies.
