Mission The Information Security Specialist is responsible for Security Operations and Project Execution, with special focus on: vulnerability management, IT Security Infrastructure, supervision of external services, Security Framework follow-up and internal regulatory framework.

Gradual focus on Security Projects Execution is foreseen as part of the role evolution.

The Information Security Specialist will be part of a 3-person team focused on Information Security and one person focused on IT Quality.


Tasks and responsibilities Contribute to the design and execution of the on-going Information Security Roadmap of Almirall. Internal responsible for Security projects, full accountability for project management. Internal responsible for the Security operations related to Vulnerability Management. Support the Quality Management role of the department. Liaise with IT Infrastructure and Operations. Education Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Certified Information Security professional is a plus (e.g. ISACA CISM). Specific knowledge System Administration Project Management. Risk Management methodologies. Industry standards such as NIST Cyber-Security Framework or ISO 27000. Security technologies in both in-house and cloud-based environments. Good communication skills. Fluent in English and Spanish. Others will be a plus. Experience Risk-oriented professional with more than 5 years of experience combining IT Security, Risk Management, IT Audit and Project management. Proved experience in: System Administration, Vulnerability Management, Security Infrastructure, Endpoint and Infrastructure protection, Design of Key Risk Indicators, Maturity frameworks, etc. Almirall's Values: Caring Dedicated Dynamic Expert
