Your mission Responsible for the accuracy of data by implementing and maintaining quality protocols, leveraging programming skills for system updates, and collaborating on data governance policies.
Responsibilities and Tasks EBMT Registry maintenance : Liaise with vendor / third parties to ensure adequate maintenance of the infrastructure of the EBMT Registry. Assist EBMT members with data reporting tasks, data quality activities, and data analysis. Implement tools to streamline error checking and error correction. Provide support in the implementation of software for database-to-database electronic transmission of data. Update and maintain electronic data collection forms in the New Registry Solution. Regular reviews of the database functioning and identifying (possible) problems and risks. Quality assurance Create documents, reports, and SOPs to document all processes. Support in ensuring database security and compliance with the latest developments. Periodically undertake data quality audits. Improvement of the quantity and quality of the data submission together with the data operations team. EBMT Registry Training Occasional training for data managers and physicians in member centers on Data Quality and Registry tools. Support training new EBMT Registry team members in EBMT Registry processes. Requirements : Fluent in English, excellent oral and written skills. Bachelor's degree in IT or related area. Strong experience in SQL, PL / SQL, Excel, R or Python. 3-5 years of experience in Tableau, MicroStrategy, Looker or similar in an administrator role or comparable. Good communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with people in a multicultural environment. Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills. Proactive. Team player. Work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel (because of the nature of our organisation with offices in Europe and our annual meeting, travel might occasionally be part of the job).
Desirable Postgraduate in IT (MSc) or similar. Experience working with standardized data models, preferably OMOP. Experience with Amazon Web Services or similar. Familiarized with Clinical knowledge and medical data (ideally HSC transplant programs and new cell therapies), translating the requirements from physicians into the system. Flexible working hours (starting from 8 to 10 am and finishing accordingly). 26 days of vacation per year. Salary: 43.231 - 48.833 gross / year (depending on previous experience).
