This is a senior position within the Industry Consulting team part of the EMIA (Europe Middle East, India and Africa) Pre-Sales organization reporting to the Director for Industry Consultants.
Locations can include Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Denmark, Norway, or the Benelux region.
This position requires an in-depth understanding of the day-to-day workings and business processes regarding project & portfolio management for asset-intensive industries and knowledge of how the relevant processes can benefit from digitalization and technology.
The primary focus is on project and portfolio management in which the role of the Hexagon Ecosys solution is key.
Experience and knowledge of material management and project execution is advantageous.
It's expected to develop an interest and knowledge in all Hexagon solutions relevant for owner-operator and engineering procurement and construction (EPC) organizations.
An Industry Consultant works closely with the sales teams in establishing the value of the Hexagon solution for achieving customer's business outcomes.
The Industry Consultant will work with the sales teams to develop a strategy to achieve the desired outcomes, conducting evaluations and assessments of the customers' business practices, work processes, and technical environments to make recommendations based on Hexagon solutions.
The Industry Consultant will support customer meetings, organize workshops, and provide solution presentations and demonstrations.
They will also define a strategy and respond to proposals, attend and present at conferences, and collaborate with marketing by providing insights based on thought leadership.
The role... Work with the sales teams to understand the customers' business needs and develop an account strategy to achieve the desired outcomes.
Conduct evaluations and assessments of the customers' business practices, work processes, and technical environments to make recommendations based on Hexagon ALI Solutions.
Understand the day-to-day workings and business processes of operations in industrial facilities.
Work independently but also as part of a larger team focused on selling and delivering software solutions.
Analyze and evaluate customer needs and propose end-to-end workflows and software solutions.
Lead pre-sales requirements workshops and document customer requirements.
Provide feedback to influence ongoing product strategy.
Maintain strong relationships with other regions' pre-sales teams.
