About the role: Depending on the management team, you will be responsible to ensure that the program activities concerning the new projects, lines, modifications affecting production equipment (manufacturing, installation, and commissioning) are conducted within the approved budget and schedule.
Responsibilities: Co-ordinate the Industrialisation activities required to facilitate a smooth transition from design to manufacture, ensuring through life support requirements are considered during all phases of the project.
Manage all aspects of product introduction including technical, administration and budgetary requirements, from design to production and ensuring compliance with cost, quality and lead-time objectives.
This is a Project Management role, responsible for the matrix management of cross-functional activities including but not limited to; Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
Will be responsible for the agreed budgetary costs associated with New Product Introduction.
Cross-functional matrix management.
This will be based in BCN, however, may be required to travel to support business needs or project requirements.
Responsible for the management and delivery of projects, on-time, on-cost, and on-quality.
Manage where required, concurrent engineering.
Ensure the correct processes and procedures are managed and projects follow the agreed business governance.
The product should meet the technical specifications, industrialisation requirements, product reliability, and cost.
Industrialise product including training and organisational development.
Risk management of design through to full production.
Define technical solutions, specifying manufacturing equipment. This will extend to drafting requirements documents and support the supplier selection process.
Ensure effective coordination between internal and external stakeholders (progress reviews, interaction, validation, etc).
Execution of project plan.
Project closure - provide feedback on ROI and/or attainment of performance targets to support future investment projects.
Schedule Performance, Cost Performance and management of Budget.
OTD - project delivery on target.
Product cycle times in line with target.
Requirements: Experienced in automotive manufacturing technology (Factory 4.0) and processes, preferably Electronics.
Knowledge of the markets associated with industrial facilities and integration processes.
Proficiency in project management techniques, expression of needs, timeframes, specifications, etc. and associated Project Management tools (Prompt, Gantt, 6 Sigma, etc.).
Lean manufacturing knowledge & experience.
Knowledge of HSE requirements with respect to plant equipment.
High English level.
Skills and Attributes: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven management experience, ability to mobilize a team.
Ability to work cross-functionally and with external stakeholders.
Good time management and adherence to deadlines.
Good commercial knowledge and financially aware.
Need to be able to work autonomously and be self-driven.
