Job Description: An opportunity for an Industrial Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).
RESPONSIBILITIES On this position, you will support the manufacturing and delivery of our Military Aircrafts: A330 MRTT, A400M, EFA and MRO classic; one of the most challenging projects within Airbus Defence and Space.
Our organization, INDUSTRIAL SERVICES, is responsible for managing all Industrial Means and external Industrial services. This comprises:
Industrial asset management & Maintenance Tool center management and industrial supplies Outsourced Industrial services: Jet fuel supply, work wear, aerial platforms, Ground Support Equipment, PPE, etc. Industrial Organization & Improvement: KAIZEN development, CAPEX acquisition, workshop empowerment, etc. We are looking for a highly motivated individual willing to engage in this project.
In your daily work, you will be involved with the Production teams, learning, solving difficulties, feeling useful, and being part of something.
Among others, you will be responsible for:
Defining, specifying, implementing, and supporting industrial means according to customer requirements and ergonomics standards. Managing and monitoring contractual relationships with suppliers to ensure delivery on time, on cost, and on quality with relevant supply chain organization. Supporting manufacturing feedback for continuous improvement, Kaizen, and PPS. SKILLS Engineering degree. At least 3 years of experience in the industrial sector, working in related areas such as project management, industrial maintenance, continuous improvement, contractual management, or production processes. Advanced level in Spanish and English. Highly motivated to engage in this project. Soft skills: Good communicator, creativity, focus on delivery, team player, analytical capacity, planning and project organization ability, and flexibility. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth.
