Job DescriptionA vacancy for an Industrial Measurement Engineer has arisen within Airbus Commercial in Getafe. The successful applicant will join the Tooling & Robotics team, within the plant's manufacturing engineering, to develop and implement the tools, machines and measuring systems for present and future aircraft developments.We are looking for an Industrial Measurement Engineer, whose main functions will be to:Implement the measurement/inspection system according to the Business Processes and Quality Standards. For Airbus Commercial, the business processes linked to measurement are:FU.IN.03.06 Implement measurement system.FU.IN.03.04 Define and perform numerical control programming (for measurement programs).Recognize engineering and manufacturing engineering (construction process) requirements and translate them into metrology requirements.Support and contribute to boundary drawings in the development (pre-design) phase in close collaboration with the industrial capability and tolerance engineer.Contribute to the consistency of the overall inspection process for geometric parameters by participating in the development of the MFT (Multifunctional Team) "control plan".Define and prepare geometric measurement tasks and enable a robust inspection process that meets initial engineering requirements (feedback loop).Gather measurement system requirements to make trade-offs between available solutions according to "Airbus Measurement Catalog D17025942" or share and generate development requests with Central ME and APT function.Ensure the qualification of the measurement system according to the Measurement System Analysis (MSA) standard.Consult with the Industrial Capabilities and Tolerances Engineer and other necessary specialists (J&T, MESPE,...) to align strategies and support during the creation of the Manufacturing Capability Database (MCD).Support Practical Problem Solving (PPS) in serial production with non-serial measurement tasks.Connect with the Process Operations Manager Representative (POM Rep.) to proactively contribute to process improvements.Be a member (or connect with a local member) of the Airbus Process Technology (APT) network for industrial measurement to define and execute metrology strategy.The ideal candidate should also excel in the following skills:Proactiveness and taking initiativeExpertise in management of stakeholdersAbility to work and think as a teamAdvanced English levelThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.Company: Airbus Operations SLEEmployment Type: PermanentExperience Level: ProfessionalJob Family: Manufacturing Engineering#J-18808-Ljbffr
