With offices in Caguas, PR, Boston, MA & San Francisco, CA and we serve life sciences clients in six global markets: United States, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Germany, Canada, and South America.Responsibilities:Complete the IH sampling plan (including: noise, indoor quality, and substances samples, and force measurements).Based on the sampling plan and change controls schedule, coordinate with planning and the functional areas the dates to perform the sampling.Open IH sampling surveys in the Lilly's system.Calibrate sampling equipment (air pumps, sonometers, dosimeters, etc.) before and after talking samples.Send samples for analysis if applicable.Complete the calculations and technical reports, if apply. F. Provide any recommendation for controls.Communicate results with the functional areas.Close the IH surveys in the Lilly's system.Complete qualitative assessments as necessary to support change controls and baseline assessments.Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to specific tasks to determine the risks, exposure conclusions, controls, and personal protective equipment.Complete the documentation related to the JSA.Complete metrics and maintain exposure matrix up to date.Complete basic metrics. Samples and JSA are monitored, and conclusions are updated into the exposure assessment master list.Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills:Science related degree and technical background. Industrial hygiene experience or education preferred.3+ years of experience in an Safety/Hygienist position within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, Food and Beverage, Cosmetics and Healthcare Industries.Or Master Degree in IHPhysical Requirements and Working Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate equipments, tools, or controls.
