From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry.Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.Play your part bringing together mobility and responsabilidty by joining Alstom Team as Indirect Buyer for Corporate Services in Madrid, SpainPURPOSE OF THE JOB :This position lead the main Indirect categories in scope are (but not limited to)Business and corporate management consultation services, temporary labor, recruitment, communication services.There will be close partnership with Communication, legal, HHRR, finance, Operations,The role reports directly to Spain and Portugal Head of Indirect Procurement.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESDevelops long term strategic plans for the entire spend area within Corporate Services for Spain and Portugal ClusterManaging in-country ( Spain and Portugal ) procurement activities and deliver on savings plan, managing relevant policies.Manages requestors and supplier relationships to ensure that Category Strategies are highly aligned to current and future Business needs and that the supply base is capable of supporting these strategies.Coordinates the introduction of new and modified services with appropriate departmentsAdvises on contracts and agreements for the supply of complex services with new and existing suppliersESSENTIAL EXPERIENCEUniversity degree or equivalent qualificationsPrevious experience in a buyer roleProven, successful supplier negotiations skills. Understanding of contract terms and conditions.Understanding of contract principles and clauses and be able to construct an interpret agreementsExcellent communication / relationship skill, be the Confidential and trustworthy business partnerCommunication skills and ability to influence othersComfort with risk and ambiguous situationsAccuracy, Problem solving, planning and organization, result orientation, service orientation, ability to perform in stress situationsDESIRABLEExperience of working within Indirect procurement, preferably Corporate or professional services categories.Fluency in English, proficiency in French as plus.ARIBA S2CYou don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
