About the Role: An opportunity has arisen for an Income Controller & General Cashier position to join our finance department in Jumeirah Mallorca. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Ensuring that receipts and cash disbursements of the hotel are properly controlled and accounted for, handling the bank deposits of daily collection, and providing outlets cashiers with small change at all times.Previewing the EOs of the groups from C&E department.Providing support for the billing groups.Reviewing group commissions.Reviewing Aging.Reviewing the correct applications of credit cards.Checking out the existing differences between outlets.Managing spot-checks of blind drop.Auditing general cash.Quantifying expenses.About the benefits: Besides generous F&B benefits and reduced hotel rates across our hotels globally, this role has excellent employee benefits making the role attractive to high performers and any applicant who likes to associate themselves with one of the most luxurious brands in the hospitality industry. About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years professional course in Finance or Economics.
Experience:
- Opera, Micros, and SUN experience will be an advantage.
- At least 1 year in a similar job in the hotel industry.
Skills:
- Attention to detail, good analytical and numeric skills, quick learner, good knowledge of Excel.
