What do we expect from you? The EMEA Merchant Acquisition Sales organization is a sales team of different nationalities speaking more than 28 languages based in Madrid. Our teams successfully acquire and manage relationships with merchants in all European Markets. As a European hub, based in our new European Head office, we offer a rewarding package and the opportunity to work at one of Spain's premier employer brands. The successful candidate will be a driven and resourceful individual who is able to quickly engage with potential merchants and clearly articulate the benefits of acceptance to a range of different types of business.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Grow the AMEX acceptance network across Europe by managing and closing inbound sales opportunities that are required to be set up on the MCCY platform.End to end ownership of a lead, from first contact through to closing the sale, account set up and ensuring that they are able to fully benefit from Accepting Amex in their establishment.Work closely with the GCG Premium Servicing teams to support Global accounts set up across all Repatriated markets (Mainly Eastern and Southern Europe plus Ireland).Work with the Aggregation to set up accounts for merchants moving from aggregation to direct Acceptance via Payment Designation across Europe.Given the size of the accounts you will be working with, each set up will be distinct, often involving custom agreement, bespoke pricing and complex set up processes. Minimum Qualifications: High level English written and spoken. High level of other European Languages is a plus.Strong organizational and time management skills.Previous Inbound or Outbound Sales experience a plus.Strong process focus, adaptability, driven by objectives, ambitious and communicative.Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; Salesforce a bonus).
