In-House Italian Translator / Content Producer –

Posizione To keep pace with technological developments in the field and face up to its increasing challenges through constant innovation, Datawords is looking for an In-house Italian Translator and Content Producer (EN / FR) for the new Datawords Office in Barcelona, as part of the Multilingual Team for project coordination and translation.
Highly adaptable, first-rate writing / editing skills in your native language are essential to the role, as well as high competency in translation, the task central to this position.
Your primary responsibilities include: Translation or post-edition in a wide variety of styles and terminologyQA of different material (website contents, subtitles, etc.)Working closely with the existing Italian team and multilingual project coordinatorsRequirements MA in Translation Studies / Audiovisual Translation or similarWorking languages: Italian (native-speaker level required), high level of English and FrenchEducation and professional experience in your native languageGreat adaptability: appreciation for a young and multicultural work environmentStrong work ethic, team player, dedicated to seeing challenging projects through to completionExcellent knowledge of office tools required (Microsoft Office Suite), computer savvyKnowledge of CAT tools (Trados or others) is a plusPrevious experience in copywriting is highly desirableConditions Job based in BarcelonaContract and salary depending on experienceVacancy starting ASAP40 h per week (from Monday to Friday)Meal voucher and transport ticketHealth insurance (depending on the type of contract)Internal Training Program providedIf interested, please send your cover letter and CV to Rosaria Sorrentino and Margherita Imbres specifying in the subject of your email the language for which you are applying.
