Every day we help our major global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects, in over 125 offices worldwide.Job DescriptionTurner Townsend has a new opportunity for a Procurement Manager in Spain.Procurement for major capital projects and programmes includes:Developing procurement and contracting strategies to drive value and mitigate riskDeveloping tender and contract documentationEffectively managing the end-to-end procurement process including coordinating tender clarifications responses, evaluating tender submissions, and developing tender reportsThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to:Develop your skill set and knowledge by working with an outstanding team of specialist consultantsEngage and influence clients on procurement of major construction projects and programmes across a variety of sectors including energy, transport, water and real estateDrive real change by supporting clients in realizing their sustainability ambitionsChallenge themselves in a market-leading global businessThe duties of this role include:Providing procurement advice to clientsManaging end-to-end procurement services on construction and construction-services-related projects and programmesDeveloping and implementing procurement strategies and plansEngaging with the market and supply chain on a national and international levelProviding expertise to embed sustainability within procurement competitionsDrafting tender documents and reviewing contract documents prepared by othersQualificationsMinimum 8 years' experience with 3 years procurement experience for the procurement of capital works, goods or servicesPreferably possess degree related to engineering or quantity surveyingExperience in construction, industrial, high tech manufacturing, battery, semi-conductors, pharma and/or manufacturing sectorBusiness level Spanish + EnglishAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
