We are now seeking to appoint a new Import Export Administrator. The role-holder will be responsible for providing the Ornua Ingredients business with a professional export administration service for new and existing countries, which meets business and legislative requirements in both countries. Will take ownership and responsibility for the export process and procedure from start to finish including quality, supply chain, finances, purchases, sales, operations, NPD, requirements and coordination. You will also be required to support other Ornua sites and be involved with projects to grow the group export business.
Key ResponsibilitiesTo manage in an effective manner, the day to day of all imports and exports from our sites, filling customers needs. Recording and communicating information with our stakeholders.Liaise with the relevant bodies (Chamber of Commerce/ APHA etc.) to apply for all the appropriate paperwork for customs clearance, in various countries within the EU and the rest of the world, for both new orders and samples. Including legalisation of documents where required.Work closely with the planner to schedule when goods can be produced and loaded.Obtain the SAE certification, managing the supplier requirements/ certificates to be able to export to the countries to which this certification is mandatory. And ensure good communication with all the departments so that everything is up to date.Allocating stock to new orders, generating pick tickets along with loading instructions for each order.Communicate and coordinate with all key business stakeholders both internally (quality, supply chain, finances, purchases, sales, operations, NPD) and externally. Including liaising with the appropriate shipping agents to book and secure the passage of goods to their final destination, organising vets for inspections of goods, obtaining export health certificates, managing termographs and booking loading slots with external warehouses.Communicate effectively with the customer service team to help keep customers up to date with information regarding their deliveries by updating a shared file with all open orders, export costs and shipping schedules.Monitor product order shipment to ensure on-time delivery to customers.Key Skills / Attributes:University Degree in Business Administration, International Business or similarKnowledge of Export in Food industry is a mustExperience of at least 3 years in similar position.Strong and effective communicator both in Spanish and EnglishStrong numerical skillsUp to date knowledge of relevant document requirements for customs clearanceStructured and very well organisedFlexible and resilientHigh levels of self motivation, drive & commitmentPragmatic, methodicalDemonstrates high personal and professional standardsKnowledge of Outlook and all Microsoft office packages
