What is the job about?
The Project Manager is part of the Product Management Team and performs transversal activities within the System Development Teams.
The Project Manager leads the delivery phase of aerospace system projects subsequent to providing project planning expertise in the full project lifecycle.
What will you do?
Responsible for initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closing of project milestones using the appropriate tools.
Manage customer project deliverables, identifying and managing opportunities, risks, and issues to ensure effective resolution or mitigation.
Coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project and team, finance, planning, scheduling, and line management.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Track and report project status relative to the project scope, developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, required project documentation, and presentations.
Collaborate with architects and system engineers to ensure consistency and project excellence.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the team.
Take part in the development of the functions and procedures of your own team, performing project close-out and lessons learned activities as necessary.
Get involved in the full system development life cycle.
Collaborate with the business winning proposals.
Provide assistance to other team members, including mentoring and advising junior members within the program.
What profile are we looking for?
Required: Aerospace, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering Master Degree.
2+ years of experience with avionics products and project management.
Specific knowledge in system engineering.
Knowledge of office automation.
