[Im835] Platform Engineer

Activities:
Developing and evolving the platform, including integration of new services and observability tools (e.g., migrate to Prometheus operator).
Implementing tools to manage the platform's lifecycle (e.g., support for blue-green deployments).
Troubleshooting and resolving issues in development and integration environments.
Automating processes for quality assurance and improving the platform's CI.
Experience:
2+ years experience.
Shell scripting and Python (or another programming language).
Docker and Kubernetes ecosystem.
Knowledge of technologies, infrastructure, and security in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or preferably Azure).
Knowledge of Linux machine administration.
Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP) and communication protocols between services (HTTP/REST) is valuable.
Experience with configuration and deployment automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
(Optional) Experience with database administration and operation.
(Optional) Experience with systems that process large volumes of data (on the order of PB).
Skills and Competencies:
Be able to keep calm when a production environment is on fire.
Communication: Being able to clearly communicate ideas and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in English and Spanish, including the ability to read and write documentation and attend technical meetings in either language.
A positive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Strong desire to adhere to best practices in software development and a need to leave well-structured code in your tracks.
