We are an international company with in-house Engineering and specialized services across Project Management for various industries, including Automation and Architecture, with EPCM expertise in more than 10 countries worldwide.
We are looking for a Project Manager in our office in Barcelona, Spain .
The ideal candidate should be a technical Architect, Architect, or Civil Engineer with experience in construction management and a strong interest in developing into a Project Manager role.
The candidate should be eager to participate in a diverse range of projects actively, from small improvements to large-scale civil/industrial constructions.
Project management responsibilities may include: Strategic Consulting Project feasibility Project preparation phase Project closing phase The role of the Project Engineer is to deliver satisfactory quality of services within the defined budget and planning.
As a Project Engineer, you will: Be responsible for all phases of the project, from consulting to full project management of a civil project.
Experience in planning, budget control, quality assessment, cost estimating, permitting, project visas, and procurement.
Define, control, and mitigate project risks to ensure adherence to key project milestones.
Examine the project in depth to plan deliverables and estimate costs.
Review the planning of all contractors and manage the complete and adapted planning of the site.
Supervise all on-site and off-site work on the project, ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations.
Prioritize task completion and take on various tasks as needed.
Requirements: BS or master's degree in technical architecture, architecture, civil engineering, or related field.
3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Real Estate consulting/EPCM in areas such as housing, logistics, industrial, and retail.
Motivated to transition from a construction site environment to an office setting with a focus on project leadership.
Experience with client relationships.
Fluency in English and Spanish is a must; French or German is an asset.
Driver License B. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, AutoCAD.
Knowledge in Presto or TCQ.
Skills: Excellent organizational, supervising, team leadership, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Proactive, creative, and flexible while working.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
This position requires full on-site presence in the Barcelona office, with national and international mobility depending on the project.
