Job DescriptionAs Operations Supervisor for our Inbound Solutions, you will be tracking and controlling all the subcontracted Service Centres in the network.
You will ensure CHEP's Procedures and standards are followed with regards to Safety, Quality and Production, as well as identifying continuous improvement initiatives in all areas to meet targets and deliver operational efficiencies year on year.
You will also be working closely with the other departments in the company to support business growth, assets control and admin processes.
Main tasksResponsibility for product- and service quality.Ensure that the production planning is followed by the subcontractors.Train the plants on Standard Work and Safety procedures and audit them accordingly.Support Safety initiatives at Subcontracted sites.Support the subcontractors with maintaining high quality standards and good manufacturing practices to meet customer satisfaction, and root-cause analysis to reduce and solve complaints.Support the implementation of a Lean culture, working together with the subcontractors on improvement initiatives, for example OEE / efficiency improvement, and tracking the initiative progress.Daily follow up on stock availability and production plan progress with 3PLs.Tracking 3PL stock- inventory and accuracy, including asset scanning.Spare part consumption reporting. What we look for3+ years in Supply Chain role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.Experience in managing projects or a group of people with no direct reporting line.Understanding of Supply Chain practices and metrics.Worked successfully in matrix structure & multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment.Experience managing subcontractors.Experience with SAP.Project Tracking. LanguagesFluent English.
Any Other European Language would be highly evaluated.
