The i2CAT Foundation is looking for an AI engineer who is willing to get involved in exciting Research and Innovation projects in the framework of Horizon Europe, as well as the Catalan and Spanish research programs.
Our team is an active player in the European research ecosystem and participates as partners or subcontractors in other R&D projects.Our area also offers professional services to relevant industry and SMEs.ProjectsINTEGRA:This is an applied research project in which i2CAT works together with other research centers.
It consists of developing new technologies for the autonomous and connected vehicle.
The new researcher will work on investigating and developing new methods for detection and tracking of vehicles from video images.IoTNGIN:This is an H2020 project that introduces new research and innovation concepts to fuel the next generation of IoT as part of the European next generation internet.
The new researcher will work on a use case of the project that will demonstrate how an Ambient Intelligence environment can prevent accidents in a smart factory.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in technological developments of R&D solutions.Implement deep learning models for object detection and tracking.Research new algorithms for object detection and tracking.Analyze and discuss technical requirements with clients and end users.Participate in the writing and editing of documents and deliverables associated with the projects.Participate in the writing and editing of new research project proposals.Work with colleagues in the Artificial Intelligence area, other research areas, and collaborating partners to deliver a proof of concept and documentation of the product that meets the desired standards.Who we areThe greatest value of i2CAT is the talent of the people who make up our human team.
