IFRS Manager - Full Time - Madrid, Spain

You will have a central role as the IFRS expert for our teams worldwide with accounting questions and within the Group Accounting team.
Your main tasks and responsibilities: Being the point of contact for the global Finance Organization, solving IFRS queries and ensuring that Group Accounting policies are adhered to.Maintaining and further developing the Group Accounting Manual in accordance with IFRS, including training of colleagues worldwide.
Managing and coordinating the implementation of new requirements (IFRS / SIX).Playing a key role in preparing the IFRS mid-year and annual consolidated financial statements, incl.
responsibility for certain notes and comments.Supporting the external audit process with the appointed audit company.Ownership of goodwill impairment testing.Support on M&A projects.Ensuring quality and integrity of financial and accounting data via effective & efficient sanity controls.Other ad-hoc responsibilities, incl.
leading projects (e.g., hedge accounting).To succeed in this role, you will need: University degree in financePreferably a fully qualified Chartered Public Accountant or similar equivalentMin.
7 years of working experience, preferably in a BIG4Very good IFRS knowledge, incl.
