JOB TITLE: Senior UX Researcher - BRAND: Adidas THE OPPORTUNITY: We're looking for a senior UX Researcher to join our Zaragoza-based Global Digital User Research team at adidas. The Global Digital User Research (GDUR) team is responsible for informing cross-functional stakeholders to develop high-quality product solutions and user experiences. Our focus is exploring and identifying our consumers' intents and related needs, expectations, and desires. These efforts culminate in valid, reliable, and objective insights for our teams. Our output is certainty in the decision to be made and the actions to be taken.
Key responsibilities: Manage end-to-end execution of large-scale user research projects, including planning, recruiting, fieldwork, reporting, and embedding into the organization.
Become a thought partner for stakeholders such as Design directors, Product directors, etc., to advise on research roadmaps, methodologies, and collaboration models.
Identify and connect different stakeholders to approach a topic holistically.
Proactively find opportunities to improve adidas' product solutions iteratively to make them more valuable to our users.
Communicate research findings to audiences from various seniority levels through a written report, verbal presentation, and workshop facilitation.
Mentor more junior researchers from the UX research team.
You're a good fit for the role if:
You have +4 years of experience as a user researcher in an e-commerce environment, with a broad research toolkit and a strong awareness of the merits and weaknesses of different approaches.
You've worked in a multidisciplinary team environment before, where you made a demonstrable impact on the direction of the product or the experience.
You understand different qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies well and can independently plan, execute, analyze, and report projects.
You value collaboration and are proactive in engaging stakeholders to ensure an impactful execution and delivery of your research projects.
You're a strong communicator and facilitator. You're able to tell a story so your audience will want to listen to and zoom into detail when needed to help solutions come to life.
Bonus points for:
Experience researching for global products or services.
Awareness of experimentation principles.
Enthusiasm about optimizing research operations.
Rich experience in organizing and facilitating workshops.
