About the team
As part of the Planning & Visual Merchandising Team, you will be responsible for training & developing store teams and in-store visual merchandising in delivering all "on the shopfloor" brand aspiration and visual standards in order to create product journeys that will scale across the store fleet, maximizing the experience of our brand, sales, sell through, and margin targets.
Together we will work towards the vision of Future of American Sportswear for the South region (France, Spain, Portugal).
Responsibilities Secure and activate the store experience to drive sales and convey the GANT lifestyle in GANT stores and concession/consignments from a visual merchandising perspective.Plan and drive experience-focused training sessions with the store team, follow up on execution and commercial targets.Train store staff on visual merchandising and retail best practices; create, document and publish standards for scalable action and autonomy at the store level.Responsible for the VM training in new stores and for new store teams.Responsible for direction & feedback towards stores and identified WHS accounts on VM implementation through given system (Yoobic) and/or other systems.Be the link between Global VM planner and store needs, ensuring that tools/guidelines for store staff are received and executed.Responsible for window setup in all mid-tier stores, approving base tier and overseeing high-tier installations.Responsible for securing commercial product presentation through implementation of company initiatives, follow up of sales figures as well as taking quick actions when needed.Partner with store staff on strategies that increase sales through assortment mix, messaging, and presentation.Own daily communication to Store Managers regarding merchandising results and new product launches.Responsible for securing the highest standard of styling and execution of the rejuvenation of our brand in retail.Support in-store presentation for local CTC events.Support securing the overall brand presentation for WHS showroom.Travel up to 4 days per week (within remit of role) and conduct walkthroughs in stores to assess the performance of visual presentations in relation to primary KPIs.Actively participate in the openings or refurbishment of our stores by adopting a strategic and commercial posture of product placements & customer experience.Minimum Requirements Retail and wholesale knowledge, ideally in apparel trade.High School (mandatory), college preferred.3+ years experience in visual merchandising within a premium fashion brand environment.Language required - English & Spanish C1, French B2 (if possible C1).Open-minded, authentic, goal-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, enjoy traveling, proactive, positive mindset, solution-oriented, innovative, strong communication skills.An engaging, coaching and inspiring way of working.Identify with and live the GANT values, the 4C's.A message from the People & Culture team
