Would you like to join an international company that is committed to talent and offers opportunities to develop your career? We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our office in Madrid, Spain.
As a Business Development Manager, you will work alongside an international team and the leadership team to contribute to Hyphen's growth by identifying and building relationships with potential clients in relevant business sectors. You will be responsible for researching and monitoring our target sectors, attending industry events, and participating in meetings with customers and offers, mainly in Spain and Portugal or with those looking to enter the Iberian market, although with a broader vision and the constant aim of reaching greater opportunities across the Group.
The roleGenerate new leads and business opportunities, closing meetings autonomously, based on strategic guidelines.Ability to identify business opportunities for other group units.Preparation, presentation and negotiation of offers.Market and industry prospecting, attending events, networking, brand positioning.Establish new relationships with potential clients and strengthen relationships with clients in our portfolio, identifying growth opportunities for existing accounts.Collaborate with other business areas, teams and our network of international offices, participating in business development actions for the group.Your skills and experience4-5 years of experience in B2B business development within the AEC industry.Experience in preparing documentation for tender processes, preparing presentations and bids, and follow up.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Power Point, Word.Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus.Experience in handling CRM software platforms.High level of English, oral and written.Ability to empathise with customers and to detect their needs in order to provide solutions with our services.We are looking for a person with positive energy, dynamic and proactive, creative, results-oriented, able to work autonomously and also add value to teamwork.Great organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.Academic background advantageous, especially in architecture, building science and technology, engineering, or similar.Experience in the management and growth of key accounts will also be advantageous.If you feel that Hyphen is a place where you can contribute your best work, be proud of your achievements and see your career develop, we'd love to hear from you.
