.OverviewAbout The RoleAs Innovation Business Developer, you will be a key player in our Innovation Department, driving business development efforts for software development products and services. This role is essential for fostering innovation, growth, and building strategic partnerships within the software development industry. You will be instrumental in facilitating innovation, fostering growth, and forming strategic partnerships that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of air transportation services.Your ultimate goal is to contribute to positioning SITA as a pioneering digital leader in the travel and transport industry and delivering business growth through new product launches.The Innovation Team is part of the SITA Strategy and Growth Enablement department ("SGE"). SITA's Business Lines encompass Communications & Infrastructure, Baggage Management, Airport Operations, Passenger Operations, and Border Management.Your ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development StrategyDevelop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy tailored for the air transport industry, focusing on co-innovation opportunities for technology solutions with our customers.Identify and target key areas within the industry for innovation and growth.Maintain a pipeline of qualified, active opportunities and manage them to close. Ensure there is a strategic fit between the opportunity and SITA capabilities.Define early-stage business cases and value propositions.Innovation PartnershipsIdentify and establish strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to drive innovation and enhance the software product and service offerings for air transport.Lead and facilitate client ideation workshops,fostering co-innovation activities and creating blueprints for bespoke solutions; from prototyping to handover to business units for productization.Act as a bridge between business units and Strategy and Growth Enablement, facilitating ideation and providing support for activities such as market sizing.Collaborate with technology providers and startups to explore opportunities for digital transformation.In collaboration with product marketing, product management and/or sales enablement, develop and communicate innovation case studies or other success stories.Software Development Products and ServicesGain a deep understanding of our software development products and services, ensuring alignment with the needs and challenges of the air transport industry.Collaborate with technology and development teams to adapt and enhance products and services to meet industry-specific requirements.Market ResearchStay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies,and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges unique to the airport transport sector.Analyze market data and customer feedback to continuously refine the product and service offerings #J-18808-Ljbffr
