Who You Are:
The DevOps Engineer enables product teams to deliver new capabilities faster through a closer partnership with operations teams and increased use of automation and tooling. They identify and optimize interdependencies between applications development and infrastructure operations through a collaborative approach and continuous delivery.
Job Highlights: Drive value using agile IT life cycle management from product prototyping to development, deployment, and optimization.Lead the engineering through development of patterns and practices for CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions across a broad variety of technologies with deployment targets including AWS, Azure, and numerous SaaS solutions.Lead technical execution of product-related, end-to-end customer and business operations and experiences.Inform and influence relevant stakeholders to deliver and support successful DevOps functionality.Partner with peers within Digital to drive the continuous improvement of service processes, user experiences, and application optimization in alignment with business stakeholders.Quickly understand the current state of DevOps and bring the knowledge and experience to chart the course to daily releases for hundreds of products on dozens of technologies.Technical expert in DevOps and reliability engineering, skilled at pipeline creation, strong experience with the public cloud, hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Static Code Analysis, Kubernetes, AMIs, Ansible, GitOps, and Version Control Systems.Key Functional Requirements & Qualifications: Experience working in agile cross-functional teams.You are curious, have excellent analytical capabilities, and have the drive to find solutions and strong problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; ability to manage multiple priorities.Drives proof of concept implementations.Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing.Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or similar field.Experience with public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience in GIT-based source code management systems (GitHub, GitLab) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices (GitHub Actions).Experience in automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.Experience in specifying Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).Experience in Linux-based operating systems.Experience in Python, Shell scripting.Experience in agile development processes and DevOps methodology/principles/practices.Experience in data storage technologies (Object, structured, and unstructured).Familiarity with fundamentals of networking concepts.Nice To Have: Experience with monitoring and dashboarding solutions like Google Analytics, PowerBI, Grafana, Prometheus, and MLFlow.Experience with code quality and security solutions like SonarQube and Checkmarx.Experience with artifact and container repositories like Artifactory and ECR.Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions like Keycloak.Experience applying FinOps, SecOps, and GitOps principles in practice.Experience with distributed systems (Spark, Hadoop).Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (AWS RDS).Experience in Integration Services (Informatica Cloud, Airflow).Experience in cloud-based machine learning platforms (Databricks, AWS Sagemaker).Experience in Data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, AWS Redshift).Experience in working within compliance (e.g.: quality, regulatory - data privacy, GxP, SOX) and cybersecurity requirements.Relevant cloud certifications.For more senior roles, mentoring and/or technology evangelism/advocacy experience.The Fine Print:
