We apply new thinking and ideas to create simpler, more valuable and trusted experiences with technology, continuously improving the way our customers live and work.Position Background:Our Pricing Managers within the Pricing COE organization are providing Account Teams financial engineering support in response to requests for proposal (RFP), proactive proposals or contract renewals by providing scenario analysis and support to enable HP to win profitable business.They perform their activities in a European multicultural environment and administrate operational processes and systems by providing assistance to sales representatives, HP clients, partners and/or commercial groups. They ensure that the offers to customers are financially sound, legally and internally compliant as well as consistent with customer expectations. They are recognized experts for their supporting tools, compliance and supporting deal approval processes. They understand financial flows, cross-departmental links and dependencies and provide consultancy to their assigned countries and internal customer groups. They leverage their expertise to drive deal, tool, or workflow improvements.Responsibilities:Prepare with sales representatives and Bid Desk pricing proposals following pricing requests from channel or partner/customers for transactional or indirect managed printing services governing the procurement of hardware, supplies, services.Prepare financials and higher-level management reviews of business cases for approval.Ensure procedural, audit and legal compliance throughout the pricing and approval process for the deals handled.Act as Sales single point of contact for the assigned HP sub-region for: i-MPS, SBDs, and HW Transactional; and ensure they follow the WW defined pricing procedures & policies.Be a subject matter expert on pricing, whatever the pricing question is.Coordinate discussions between pricing people from different motions to understand local market dynamics and sales behavior.Regularly participate in local sales/category staff meetings of the assigned sub-region.Establish and manage margin improvement projects with or for the assigned region on needed basis.Prepare reports for the activity performed whenever requested by the direct manager.Ensure excellent collaboration within the team and with the other departments with which they interact during the process, with internal and external clients.Additional Duties:Ensure proper backup and handover during vacation and other absence.Apply Control & Quality policies to ensure HP policies and audit requirements are met.Respect HP confidentiality and private information policies
