Team Overview and Job Responsibilities / Visión General y Responsabilidades: Buyer who is responsible for some categories at the country level with a spend of 40 M€.
Manage the day-to-day activities necessary to purchase non-raw materials (services, materials) that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
Enter orders into the SAP system for managerial approval and release.
Set up the analysis of supplier bids, tenders, proposals, or quotations with terms that are in the organization's best interest.
Communicate with vendors to solve problems with the timeliness or quality of supplies.
Identify, research, and evaluate new possible suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
Set up the assessment of suppliers' products/services to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards and drive supplier performance.
Collect purchasing-related data and provide management with operational reporting.

Formación: Economics or Engineering Degree Idiomas: English Experiência: At least 3-5 years of previous experience in similar roles Other preferred knowledge: Working knowledge of databases; SAP knowledge will be considered a plus.
Microsoft Office knowledge is needed, especially Excel (advanced).
