Base Location : Bilbao is valuable however there may be flexibility to also consider Madrid, Zaragoza or Santiago de Compostela

What is the Role? This is an exciting new role within our European business and will play a vital part in our Net Zero commitment and ambitious growth strategy, come and help us Power Change in Europe! You will join a Renewables business that will lead activities across several Southern European countries with our major Hub in Spain. The working environment will be international, diverse, inclusive and in growth mode. The main objectives are to develop, build and own renewable energy plants - mainly Wind Technology but also Solar, Storage and Hydro across Europe to achieve our Net Zero commitments.
As part of the Technical Team, you will participate and support the development and design of Wind, Solar PV Plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Managing all quality aspects on projects in construction in coordination with the Site Manager, ensuring that quality targets are met.
Coordinating and supervising all stakeholders (internal and external) present in construction in all quality related aspects.
Developing and implementing the departmental policies, procedures, and systems resulting in a frame for quality management during construction.
Visiting factories or the construction sites for quality testing or auditing whenever required.
Reporting to the Head of Construction the performance of the quality system, any non-compliance issues, and recommended actions on time for the projects.
What do I need? To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
Degree as an engineer or comparable training with the relevant additional qualification.
Professional experience in QA/QC management in the renewable energy sector.
High English skill and experience working on multi-project and multi-discipline teams.
Good command of quality management methods and tools such as TQM, QMS, EMS, FMEA process.
Proven strong problem-solving ability with attention to root cause.
