.About us :We are the independent expert in assurance and risk management.Driven by our purpose, to safeguard life, property, and the environment, we empower our customers and their stakeholders with facts and reliable insights so that critical decisions can be made with confidence. As a trusted voice for many of the world's most successful organizations, we use our knowledge to advance safety and performance, set industry benchmarks, and inspire and invent solutions to tackle global transformations.About Energy Systems :We help customers navigate the complex transition to a decarbonized and more sustainable energy future. We do this by assuring that energy systems work safely and effectively, using solutions that are increasingly digital. We also help industries and governments to navigate the many complex, interrelated transitions taking place globally and regionally, in the energy industry.About the role :DNV's Wind & Solar Technology Testing Team delivers high-quality analysis to ensure that wind turbines, solar plants, hydroelectric and other conventional power plants perform to expectations. We are engineers, scientists and business experts dedicated to the success of the energy industry. We verify through measurements, simulations and certification processes that power plants will produce energy in line with expectations and have a useful lifetime consistent with their design. The Grid Code Compliance team consists of electrical engineers who are dealing with the verification of Grid Code Compliance performance of power plants, from early stages to final certification. The team handles simulations, testing and assessment on behavior in events such as Fault Ride through (FRT) tests, harmonics, flicker, reactive and active power control, and others around the globe with emphasis in the home region in Spain.Your responsibilities will focus on:Electrical simulations for grid code compliance purposes.Project, electrical components, and power plants certification, including assessment and reporting of results and technical documentation received.Technical report writing, critical reviewing and professional presentation to clients.Support in project management of grid code compliance projects (scope, schedule, costs).Developing tools and processes to continuously improve the quality and value of delivery.Other tasks may include:Installation and commissioning of measurement systems for Grid Code Compliance or Power quality verification on power plants.On-site testing, data monitoring and analysis.Troubleshooting on data acquisition systems and sensors.Measurement equipment specification, procurement, preparation.Monitoring and analysis of data from measurements campaigns according to international standards and internal best practices. What we offer :- Involvement in managing projects with top energy players and a diverse array of developers and owners
