Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is looking for a Data Scientist expert based in our Boadilla del Monte office.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As a Data Scientist Competent, you will design, construct, and pilot advanced analytics techniques and Machine Learning scalable solutions to solve business needs in Santander Corporate & Investment Banking. We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
Continuously improve the business's data analysis through the design and implementation of machine learning models, the application of advanced analytic techniques, and the leveraging of data sources.Develop tools and services from POCs to industrialized features, working closely with other data/ML engineers.Engage in fundamental research to develop novel solutions.Maintain a deep understanding of the business's marketplace dynamics.Participate, together with the data scientists experts and the business, in the process of business cases to quantify data science solutions benefits, costs, and impact.Keep updated on the latest trends and new techniques in data science and artificial intelligence.EXPERIENCE 2+ years of relevant experience in a Data Scientist role with a strong background in mathematics and computer science.Knowledge in Corporate and Investment Banking Business will be a plus.EDUCATION University Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related scientific disciplines.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE High level of Spanish and English.Programming Languages: Python.Machine Learning and Deep Learning: Classification, Regression, Clustering, Unsupervised methods, Text Mining.Excellent understanding of Random Forests, Gradient Boosting, Neural Networks, Logistic Regression, SVM, KNN, K-Means, etc. Parametric and non-parametric statistics.Microsoft Office.Able to translate complex technical language into a clear business strategy.Resourceful, composed, and patient in pioneering new solutions.Works and communicates constructively with others, placing collective success above individual gains.Gets things done in a timely and effective manner.Has attention to detail.OTHER INFORMATION Availability to travel sporadically.If you want to know more about us, follow us on: Santander Corporate Investment Banking LinkedIn Banco Santander LinkedIn The Santander Effect: Our work touches 140 million lives every day.
