Your roleWe are seeking a dynamic E-commerce Manager. As an E-commerce Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the online distribution channels of Olala Group establishments, ensuring the proper visibility, updates, and performance of the platforms.
You will work closely with the Revenue Management department to optimize inventories, rates, and the distribution strategy across different channels, with the aim of maximizing revenue and ensuring efficient, seamless operations.
Your JourneyDistribution Channels and Extranets Management:
- Continuously maintain and update the extranets of the various distribution channels (OTAs, GDS, metasearch engines, etc.).
- Properly map the distribution channels in the systems to ensure the correct communication and synchronization of rates, inventories, and restrictions.
- Ensure accurate loading and updating of inventories, rates, and promotions on all distribution channels.
- Monitor and resolve any technical or connectivity issues with the distribution channels, ensuring the system functions correctly and no sales are lost.Content Control:
- Manage the uploading and updating of content (descriptions, images, services, etc.) across the various distribution channels to ensure consistency and accuracy of the establishment's information.
- Oversee the proper representation of the brand and ensure all information is clear and appealing to potential customers across all online channels.Inventory and Pricing Optimization:
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to implement and maintain dynamic pricing strategies and control the distribution of inventories across online channels.
- Ensure that rates, restrictions, and promotions are consistent and reflect the strategic decisions of the Revenue Management team across all channels.
- Analyze the performance of the various distribution channels and make real-time adjustments to maximize revenue and optimize occupancy.Incident Management:
- Coordinate the resolution of issues related to distribution channels, such as errors in rate updates, connectivity problems, or inventory discrepancies.
- Act as the primary point of contact with the technical support teams of OTAs and other technology partners to resolve incidents promptly.Analysis and Reporting:
- Generate performance reports of the distribution channels, identifying areas for improvement and recommending adjustments to optimize online sales.
- Monitor key KPIs (such as occupancy, conversion, RevPAR, etc.) and adjust the distribution strategy based on the results obtained.Relationship with Distribution Channels:
- Maintain close relationships with account managers of OTAs and other channels to ensure effective collaboration and optimization of sales opportunities.
- Negotiate terms and new promotional opportunities with distribution partners.What do you bring to your tripEducation: Degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, or related fields.Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing distribution channels in the hospitality industry.Knowledge: Handling OTA extranets, hotel management systems (PMS, Channel Manager), channel mapping, rate and inventory management.Analytical ability to interpret data and adjust distribution strategies.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Technical problem-solving and coordination with external teams.Good communication and negotiation skills.Desired Competencies:Advanced knowledge of Revenue Management and revenue optimization techniques.Experience managing multiple properties or large hotel chains.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Olala PerksBreakfast is the most important meal of the day.
