The IoT Digital Engineering team is responsible for the Vodafone IoT Digital Customer experience through the managed connectivity portals and new Vodafone IoT website following setup as a separate entity within Vodafone.
We are looking for a passionate Lead Website Software Engineer to join us as Technical lead and Software Developer. You will be part of a rapidly growing team, take part & have opportunity to drive the Vodafone IoT Digital customer experience through portal and website development and will be in charge of the following responsibilities: Build high quality, well-tested softwareSelect the most appropriate technologies aligning with the wider IoT Digital team to promote a culture of re-use across our Digital solutions.Work with product teams and UX design to understand and define the deliverable requirements to meet customer experience expectations and timescale.Define technical improvement areas and drive the software implementations with the best suited technologies and optimising cost.Troubleshoot, maintain and optimise the solution. What you bring: 6+ Years of experience as a software engineer in website development.Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer ScienceProven experience in modern software development & deploymentStrong experience of ReactStrong experience with following technologies: TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML 5 Bonus points if you have: Proven software development experience with microservices on cloud hyperscales (AWS, Azure), Kubernetes and DockerProven experience of unit & integration testing frameworksExperience with web service technologies (REST, JSON, XML) Not a perfect fit?
