Role purpose:The Technology Product Owner manages the technology product roadmap, backlog, and lifecycle for one or more products and the associated product development value-streams. It will be necessary to negotiate, manage and agree demand into the practice for these products and manage the finance and operational governance to develop and launch the technology product/feature.
You will work closely with Product Management leads, Development leads, vendors, technology, and operations teams to build the technology backlog to inform and deliver the product/platform strategy and roadmap. This will require you to have a strong technology understanding for the products that are to be developed. You will negotiate, manage, and agree demand into the practice and support the finance and operational governance alongside LPM and other stakeholders.
The product owner (responsible for the 'how') will engage with the Product Architect, Service Design, Delivery, and Operational teams to ensure clarity in the asks and support the respective teams in delivering the desired business outcome. You will help the LOB Product Manager (accountable for the 'what') to build the product roadmap, advising mandatory technology/operational capabilities, progressing impact assessments and agreeing on behalf of the practice that the final prioritised roadmap is viable from a technology, cost, and delivery perspective.
