In this role, you will assist in our data discovery efforts to understand data sources within ADP to support our enterprise data governance effort by guarding our clients' & employee data with metadata cataloging, data quality management, issue resolution, and security via data access entitlements that will protect our brand and ensure appropriate use of our enterprise data assets.
The Data Governance Lead Analyst role combines analysis, communications, and project management - identifying the business need or opportunity, analyzing and researching, understanding and sharing data knowledge, supporting business data stewards and data domain owners, and building a foundation for effective data governance collaboration across our business functions.
You will be responsible for documenting and fulfilling data governance use cases from multiple business units. This includes use case discovery, gathering data requirements, analysis and research, and documenting metadata to support our enterprise data governance effort.
Our data governance effort includes cataloging, PII identification, data lineage, and data quality management. You will provide guidance to our business data stewards on adherence to our data governance policies, standards, and processes and oversee technical fulfillment of metadata publication within our data governance toolset.
You will also be responsible for measuring end user engagement with our data governance tools and providing support and training to ensure our success with data governance.

You will have subject matter expertise in data governance & data management practices with demonstrated experience, and be familiar with the DCAM framework and/or DAMA wheel along with Enterprise Data Governance toolsets like Informatica, Alation, Collibra, etc.
In addition, you should have a general awareness of global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) so that you can identify when to engage Data Privacy and Legal teams.
